Is there really a true definition of fashion? Webster has its own versions, but what's fashion to YOU. When the word "fashion" is mentioned, modeling, trends, fashion shows and photoshoots may come to mind. However, the discussion of fashion is a very opinionated matter.
WHAT DOES FASHION MEAN TO YOU?
As a painter and designer I treat my fashion like my works of art. I believe fashion is all about me. I treat it as a practice and hobby. What we wear is who we are, and it’s quite personal. Fashion is about expressing your identity, showing someone who you are through your fashion choices and using your clothes to tell someone something about you.
Fashion is all about expression and creativity.
The photo above shows an unknown model wearing a plastic Givenchy Paris bag over his head. Most people will take a place at the photo and say it's not fashion, while the person who is wearing it sees another realm of the meaning of fashion.
Fashion is a way of introducing yourself without having to say a word. You can tell the whole world about your personality just by the type of clothes you wear. It is also a way to express yourself. It provides us with a creative outlet that we can constantly change and improve
